On behalf of our team I’d like to wish you a very happy New Year and all the best for 2010. For many of us, the festive season is fast becoming a distant memory, so we’ve put together a couple of useful suggestions to gear up for a proactive, productive and successful year.
.
Festive Season Feedback: the good and the bad
It’s great to see a stream of festive season compliments being submitted on the getclosure website, and I’m sure that suppliers appreciate them too, so please keep them coming! We have included some of our favourites below:
Auto & General: “Fantasic helpful, polite what a pleasure it was dealing with Yasmeen - she defnitely deserves the Star of the Year award.” – Giselle
FNB: “… FNB Musgrave has a gem of an employee - Tessa Crowie goes above and beyond… Thank you Tessa and Thank you FNB for having employees of such a calibre.” – Samu
On the flipside, if you experienced poor service or bought a faulty product, now is the time to act!
Companies need to hear your feedback to be able to improve their service and to prevent the same thing happening again. The good news is that it only takes five minutes to submit your complaint on getclosure, and then we’ll do the rest: we will deliver it to the supplier promptly and give them the opportunity to respond in a discreet environment to resolve the situation. All the while, you will be able to track the complaint’s progress on your getclosure dashboard. Click here to submit your complaint.
Need a refund?
If you found yourself caught up in the festive season madness and bought things that you really don’t need or want, you may still be able to get a refund or exchange it for something else. Companies’ refund policies do vary, but most will allow you to exchange a product if it hasn’t been worn or used and was not bought on sale. And don’t drag your feet about returns: most companies also have a time limit on how long after a purchase you can return something. Click here for more info on what the Consumer Protection Act says about refund policies.
Consumer news
In line with this proactive line of thinking, M-Net’s Carte Blanche is launching a new consumer series to expand their watchdog role in 2010. The first episode of Carte Blanche Consumer is scheduled to be screened this evening. Read more.
