It is almost Christmas and all us techies are seriously looking forward to a bit of a holiday.
As one would expect, we have found ourselves pushing hard to get our last few jobs done before we are permitted to put our laptops on standby for a few weeks. Fortunately we have managed to deploy all of the system updates that we had hoped to deploy. So for those of you who are still online, you will immediately see a few friendly changes that we believe will make your getclosure! experience faster and easier.
The big updates are:
Improved supplier ratings:
We now show both short-term and long-term ratings, which means that suppliers whose historical ratings might have been below average can now get themselves into the “top 5 suppliers for the last 7 days” by concentrating on the present and not worrying too much about the past.
Easy access to complaint details for both suppliers and consumers:
Secure links from the emails we send you will now take you straight into your complaints details without you having to log in.
Response reminders cc’d to customers:
We have decided to cc consumers on at least one of the reminders we send to supplier who are not responding promptly to their complaints just so the consumers are kept a bit more in the loop than they have been in the past.
Simplification of supplier account setup communications:
We have condensed the three emails that we used to send to new suppliers in respect of the new account details and complaint details into a single easy to read email that should help supplier get going more quickly.
Consumer expectations management:
As one would expect, some suppliers are better at responding to their customers complaints than others. To help consumers get the most out of our system we will now be telling you what the suppliers response rate is at the time that you submit a complaint and if their response rate is less than 80% we will give you an opportunity to send them a direct communication from yourself to further encourage them to respond to the complaint you have lodged on the getclosure! website.
Happy holidays, safe travels and all the best from the getclosure! development team.
