The Indaba 2009 Welcome Awards were held in Durban this week. In association with South African Tourism, the awards acknowledge tourism and hospitality companies who excel in delivering quality service to their customers. With the 2010 soccer events around the corner, it is great to see that companies are taking the time to attend to their customers and make them feel welcome in this beautiful country.

There are nine categories and one overall winner in each: Accommodation; Tour Operators; Tourist Guides; Tourist Attractions; Travel Agencies; Restaurants; Meetings, Exhibitions and Special Events (MESE); Parks and Online.
