Consumers no longer need to be concerned about the danger of carrying bundles of cash to the petrol station in order to pay for petrol. This is because the Department of Minerals and Energy has declared that consumers are now allowed to pay for petrol with their credit cards.
This will hopefully combat crime at petrol stations, as well as make it more convenient from a consumer and tourist point of view, especially during the Soccer World Cup next year.
