When the getclosure head office relocated to Cape Town a couple of months ago Lucinda joined our team. She is incredibly hard working, efficient and a pleasure to have in the office and I’d like to extend a warm welcome to her on behalf of the entire getclosure team.

Operational and Support Services Administrator

2. What does your average work day entail?

  • Ensuring the complaints submitted on the website reach the supplier organisation.
  • Answering customer and supplier queries, via email, telephone and live chat.
  • Calling suppliers in order to obtain the contact details for an appropriate person to handle complaints.

3. How does the live person feature on the website work?
The live person feature is a real time chat facility made available should users of the website need assistance, with regard to how to submit a complaint, logging onto their dashboards etc and any other general questions and queries they may have.

4. What 5 things do you enjoy most about getclosure?

  • The opportunity for personal growth, as I am able to do more than my job description, such as writing compliment posts for the getclosure blog.

5. What is your favourite brand and why?
I don’t have a particular favourite; however I do like the Truworths brand, because for me it speaks class, quality and professionalism.

6. Where have you experienced positive customer service recently?
I received great service from Foschini in Golden Acre, Cape Town when I applied for my first ever retail clothing account. The assistant Maggie who deals with the opening of new accounts was very friendly and extremely helpful in assisting me in completing my application. Thanks Maggie for your great attitude and customer service!

7. What is your motto in life?
Nothing good ever comes easy…but if you work hard and love what you do, then everything else will fall into place.

8. What do you do when you’re not working?
I’m more of a ‘homebody’…so I enjoy relaxing and chilling at home, either reading, listening to music, watching movies and spending time with my family.
