If the notice to cancel is posted: must it be received by the supplier within the 5 day period, or must it only be posted within the 5 day period?

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear that. Once the CPA comes in to effect you will be protected against things like this. However until then you can contact one of the remedy providers listed on our site: http://www.getclosure.co.za/article/remedy-providers.html or submit a complaint against the company by completing the "Submit your complaint here" on the getclosure homepage: http://www.getclosure.co.za/

Were phoned for an appointment for presentation. was not shown working product, agent did not have laptop with him, after signing he fetched software from car. I opened one box to read manual, done no installation.

Is this a form of direct marketing? Have now found various negative/scam unhappy customers posting on the net. Most problems concerning returns and monies that are not paid back and stop orders/withdraws from credit card accounts wich were not authorised by consumer. Also were not told the products could be bought seperetly, would not have taken both.

They do state that you can only cancel after six months. I did not have the full amount available in my budget but yet they took what was available, also with no consent from me,they deducted what was left in the rest of the account. If he had told before he applied for "simulation authorisation" what the amount was I would have said no.

What are my rights? Please help. I want to post on the other forums to inform people as to what they can do.

Thank you in advance

Hi there, unfortunately the CPA will not deal with this issue – it’s an employment or contractual issue covered by labour or contract law.
