Congratulations to Jezile Dhlamini for winning the R500 prize in the latest getclosure competition!
When we contacted Jezile to tell her about the prize we asked her a couple of questions. Here is what she had to say:
1. What do you think of the getclosure newsletter?
I love the newsletter! I love that the newsletter not only contains info on compliments or complaints but issues that affect consumers – from the CPA to developments within customer service and research.
2. Have you got anything exciting lined up to do with your prize money?
I’m a typical girl – so I will either use the money to go out for a nice dinner, pamper myself or get a stunning pair of shoes!
3. What do you enjoy most about the getclosure website?
I love the supplier and industry ratings.
4. Where have you had great customer service recently?
Standard Bank – I had been having problems with their online banking- went into the branch and still the online banking application was giving me problems, which were sorted out by the branch consultant and thought that was the end of that – later that day received an email from Standard Bank and the online team apologizing for the inconvenience – I wish that a lot more companies could be so proactive and not look at customer service as a generic issue with generic responses/ resolutions. 5. What do you think of the Don’t Complain Campaign?
I love the call for action – that if you don’t complain – you cannot elevate service levels or then can’t complain about bad service if you are not prepared to do something about it. I think this becomes more important, with 2010 coming up – companies not only need to elevate their game to serve the SA customer but have a global outlook to service, as we will now be servicing global customers with different service expectations that we will be measured against.
