WirelessG announces that in-flight, high speed internet will be available in sub-Saharan Africa in the next couple of months.  G-connect users will be able to use their current accounts on flights, and other consumers will be able to pay to access the service.  Click here to read the full story.

It will be interesting to see which airlines offer this service first, and how it affects competition between airlines. Would you be prepared to pay a bit more for a flight or change from your preferred airline to have Wi-Fi access at 35 000 feet?
